Privacy policy
What we collect when you order or get in touch, and what we do with it. Last updated 13 October 2026.
Liquid Intelligence Pty Ltd handles personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy covers information collected through this website, and what you tell us when you call or email us about an order.
What we collect
- When you order: your name, email address, phone number and delivery address, and what you bought.
- When you start checking out: the email address and phone number you enter, and what's in your cart. We keep these even if you don't finish paying.
- When you pay: card details are typed into PayPal's secure fields and go straight to PayPal. We never see or store your card number. If you pay with PayPal, PayPal passes us your name, email and delivery address. If you choose Afterpay, we pass Afterpay your name, email, phone, delivery address and what you're buying, so it can set up your payments.
- When you call or email: whatever you choose to tell us, such as your vehicle or equipment and the problem you're fixing.
When you add something to your cart, we record what's in it under a random number for your browser, without your name or contact details, so we can see how the shop is used. With it we keep a short record of your visits: how you arrived (for example from a Google search), the pages you viewed, the steps you took in the cart and at checkout, and the kind of device you used. If you press one of our phone numbers, we note which one, on which page, and the town or region your internet connection is in, with that same record. If you enter your email at checkout, we keep your cart and that record with your contact details, so we can help if the checkout isn't finished. In Europe, none of this is recorded unless you've accepted analytics.
What we use it for
- To take payment for your order, pack it and deliver it.
- To email your receipt and contact you about your order.
- If a checkout isn't finished, to contact you personally about that order, in case something went wrong. We won't add you to a mailing list without your consent.
- To answer your questions and give technical support.
- To improve the website, using traffic figures that don't identify you.
Cookies
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. After you pay, we set one cookie so the confirmation page can show your order. It lasts a day. PayPal and Afterpay set their own cookies while you pay, and we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful, which collects aggregate data about site traffic. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, though checkout needs them to work.
We also use Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors move through our pages (clicks, scrolling and mouse movement) so we can see where the site is hard to use. Your details at checkout and on your order confirmation are hidden from these recordings, and card numbers never reach them. We label each recording with what's in the cart, its value, the random number for your browser and, if you order, the order number, so we can match a recording to an order. Microsoft's use of the data is covered by the Microsoft privacy statement.
If you're visiting from Europe or the UK, we ask before using Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity, and nothing is collected unless you agree. You can change your answer any time with “Cookie settings” at the foot of every page.
Who we share it with
We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information. We share only what each of these services needs to do its job for us:
- PayPal, to process your payment.
- Afterpay, if you choose to pay in instalments: your name, contact details, delivery address and order.
- AusPost, to deliver your order: your name, delivery address and phone number.
- Our email provider, to send your receipt.
- Our website host, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, which run and measure the site.
Some of these services store information outside Australia, including in the United States and Japan. We may also release information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, property or safety, or that of others.
Keeping it safe
The website runs over an encrypted connection, payments are handled by PayPal or Afterpay, and we keep order details only as long as we need them for the order, for warranty and product questions, and for our tax records.
Seeing or correcting your information
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. Call or email us using the details below and we'll respond within 30 days.
Complaints
If you think we've mishandled your information, tell us first and we'll try to put it right. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Links to other websites
We sometimes link to other websites. They have their own privacy policies, and we aren't responsible for their content or how they handle your information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the changes on this page and update the date at the top. Our terms and conditions cover the use of the website itself.
