Racing Brake Fluid
“I guarantee you too can brake harder and later into the corner without any brake fade when you use Liquid Intelligence 318. It really does do exactly what it says.”
✓ 100% satisfaction guarantee: you have everything to gain and nothing to lose.
Liquid Intelligence 318 is a racing brake fluid equivalent to DOT 6, with a maximum performance boiling point of 318°C. It's made for racing, motorsport and extreme braking, so you can brake harder and later into the corner without fade.
It's ether and ester based, with a 10-year service life and extremely low compressibility, and compatible with DOT 3, DOT 4 and DOT 5.1 fluids.
What makes it work

Braking heat can take the wheel cylinders and brake fluid well above 150°C, and on the track, past 200°C. If the fluid boils, it forms vapour bubbles, which compress when you press the pedal instead of passing the pressure to the brakes: vapour lock. 318 has a dry boiling point of 318°C, and because it absorbs very little moisture, it holds a high boiling point much longer than traditional fluids.
- Firm pedal: its very high specific gravity gives extremely low compressibility, which helps eliminate soft pedal, fade and vapour lock.
- Instant response: braking happens in fractions of a second, and fluids that thicken in the cold build pressure more slowly. 318's extremely low viscosity keeps the brakes responsive.
- Stable under heat: high-quality glycol ether and ester components with special inhibitors keep it chemically and thermally stable at racing temperatures.
- Protects the system: additives protect steel, cast iron, aluminium, brass and copper against oxidation and corrosion, it lubricates against friction and abrasion, and it gives the elastomer cups the slight swelling they need to seal reliably under heat and pressure.
It exceeds SAE J1703 and J1704, FMVSS 116 and ISO 4925 Class 6, including the most severe dry and wet equilibrium reflux boiling point requirements of FMVSS 116's highest DOT standard.
Where to use it
318 is for all types of racing and motorsport hydraulic brake and clutch actuators, and it's designed to resist the extreme temperatures of racing carbon and ceramic brakes.
It also meets original equipment manufacturers' requirements for a low-viscosity, high-temperature fluid for anti-lock braking (ABS) and electronic stability control (ESC). When those systems release or lock a wheel, the valves in the hydraulic control unit are hard on brake fluid: the pressure can break down the fluid, its additives and its base stock. The fluid needs a specific viscosity so it flows as expected when a valve opens, and it mustn't absorb moisture, which changes the viscosity. Worn-out fluid can even cavitate, forming air bubbles as it's forced through the valves.

That's why Tony uses 318 in his 2003 BMW M3 CSL, with its ABS, ESC and traction control. In an ageing car, the brake seals also shrink and leak as the volatile compounds in them are slowly lost; 318 rejuvenates them with that same slight swelling, so they keep sealing under heat and pressure.
Brake drag and braking shudder
Brake drag and braking shudder happen when the brakes don't release properly. A master cylinder bypass port can be blocked by contaminants, the wheel and master cylinders can turn sticky with condensation and degraded brake fluid residue, or the ABS can malfunction. The video below shows how one customer got rid of brake drag and shudder cheaply, without replacing any brake parts, by changing his whole system over to 318.

What customers say
I just replaced the brake fluid on our BMW E70 3.0sd with Liquid intelligence 318 and liked the product so much that I also switched to 318 in our 2004 Nissan Navara and my classic 1982 BMW 323i.

Peter, I received the 318 Brake Fluid very quickly, thank you. Over the years I have (and still do) own a number of performance cars ranging from single aspirated to multi-turbocharged 4, 6 and 8 cylinder cars. I just replaced the brake fluid on our BMW E70 3.0sd with Liquid intelligence 318 and liked the product so much that I also switched to 318 in our 2004 Nissan Navara and my classic 1982 BMW 323i. I will be switching to 318 on our 2010 Mini Cooper S as well.
Good product, backed by great service, thanks.
I can honestly say by the end of the evening, neither track car experienced any brake fade and could genuinely brake later and harder on every turn with greater confidence, especially Turn 2.

I feel compelled to give some feedback after using Liquid Intelligence 318 brake fluid.
Last night, my son and daughter and I attended Subinats 23 at SMSP. It’s Australia’s largest Subaru sporting event held annually by the Impreza WRX Club.
My son and I competed in the Supersprint events on South, North and the GP circuits while my daughter took up shop on the skid pan. (All 3 cars are street legal and registered for daily use).
Out biggest hurdle has always been brakes, or lack there of, given the day starts at 9am and finishes around 10pm running South circuit in the morning, North circuit after lunch and finishing with GP for the evening under lights.
Last week we found out about Liquid Intelligence 318, did a little research and decided to give it a go in all 3 cars for the event. A great decision was made without knowing it at the time.
Race day was Saturday 30th September and the ambient temp was going to hit 32 degrees at Eastern Creek. Not ideal for our cars.
I can honestly say by the end of the evening, neither track car experienced any brake fade and could genuinely brake later and harder on every turn with greater confidence, especially Turn 2.
We are just a family team enjoying our motorsport together. We don’t run for Sheep Stations, just for the love of it. So our budget reflects our mods list.
You’re product 318, has given our cars an upgrade in the brake department without the expense of massive brake upgrades.
So on behalf of VJM Motorsports, we just wanted to say thank you for developing a product that does what it claims. It honestly helps grassroots teams like ours.
The team ran 318 in all three family cars at Subinats 23 at Sydney Motorsport Park; the email is signed by the team, not a named person.
