  • Pentosynth HC 5W-40 is a special synthetic fuel economy premium motor oil formulated with HC – synthetic base oils. The use of a modern low ash additive package of latest technology in combination with a very shear stable VI-Improver guarantees an outstanding engine performance.
  • Pentosynth HC 5W-40 has two special features:
    • it is designed to suit the needs of a pump-nozzle-oil required by certain VW engines,
    • it shows superior catalyst protection due to its low ash, pointed out by ACEA C3 claim and MB-Approval 229.51.
  • Pentosynth HC 5W-40 is a perfect all-season motor oil due to its broad viscosity range, making it suitable for very demanding summer and winter operations. Built in selected friction modifiers provide recognizable fuel savings at optimal driving conditions.
  • Pentosynth HC 5W-40 can be used in gasoline and diesel engines with and without turbochargers. It is miscible with all standard motor oils based on mineral, HC-synthetic or synthetic oils.
