What David Hogan Of Highway Performance Bike Off Road Team Says About Liquid Intelligence 115
… boiling!During a recent endurance event. Both of our team bikes ran extremely hot, but my bike (KTM 250 two stroke) boiled on both the Saturday and Sunday and on both occasions the bike ended the event with a few 100mls of coolant left, if that! … It wasn’t even a really hot day!!… the bike boiled on a slow hill climb when air flow was limited due to the slow speed. The weather conditions that day weren’t extreme either, only low 20’s, so that just added to our concerns. … solution?we were told about Liquid Intelligence 115 synthetic waterless coolant by one of our contacts in a local bike store when we spoke to her about our overheating and boiling issues. … action! We assessed the engine and noted that fortunately the wear and damage from the boiling event was minimal, so we only replaced the o-rings in the head. But then we flushed out the cooling system and began using liquid intelligence. Not once since then, has the bike boiled or lost power due to heat. In competition conditions when many other bikes boil, I reckon I now have a serious and ‘legal’ advantage! … down the track:We recently rebuilt the engine in that bike and noticed that the wear from the original boiling episode hasn’t changed … this is after another 70 hours of competition use with the same Liquid Intelligence still in the cooling system!
